The future of business in the region is in good hands, based on the 2018 class of Forty Under 40 award winners honored Tuesday night at Bear Creek Mountain Resort in Longswamp Township.

“These 40 young people you are about to meet share a commitment to excellence,” Mike O’Rourke, Lehigh Valley Business publisher, told the audience of more than 250. “Each has already made their mark in the region, and each will continue to be a leader in business in the Greater Lehigh Valley for many years to come.”

Each of the honorees was selected for his or her commitment to business growth, professional excellence and the community. An independent panel of judges reviewed the nominees and gave them scores based on their achievements.

“These individuals have faced different and difficult challenges in reaching their goals,” O’Rourke said. “They come from a variety of backgrounds, diverse industries and all parts of our region.”

The sixth annual event, held by Lehigh Valley Business, included an awards ceremony, reception and networking.
